Dr. Michael J. Wolpmann is a Board Certified gynecologist who provides general
and highly specialized gynecologic
care for women of all ages. Dr. Wolpmann received his M.D. degree with honors from Albany
Medical College in Albany, New York and completed his specialty training
at the world-renowned Baylor College of Medicine.
While at Baylor,
Dr. Wolpmann participated in clinical research in women's health and the
training of other physicians. He continues these types of activities today
in private practice in Venice, Florida and is a frequent public speaker on
women's health topics. His special clinical interests include pelvic
prolapse and urinary incontinence, as well as minimally invasive and
laparoscopic surgery.
Dr.
Wolpmann
has received advanced training and certification in multiple areas of operative gynecology including advanced
robotic, laparoscopic and pelviscopic surgery, laser surgery, hysteroscopic surgery, pelvic reconstructive surgery, and
female urinary incontinence surgery.
Dr. Wolpmann is Board Certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics
and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. He is also a Fellow of
the American College of Surgeons.
